Born in Dayton, Ohio, I have now lived in the Midwest, South and now the Northeast. The value of public service has guided me both in my post-high school academics and professional career. I graduated from the University of South Carolina where I received a B.A. in political science with a cognate in History. I worked for a State Political Party, U.S. Presidential Candidate, U.S. Senator and U.S. Senatorial Candidate. Recently I turned my attention to "underprivileged youth." I have worked in the foster care system, juvenile justice system, public school system (7th grade Math in Harlem) and spent the summer of 2007 as the Operations Director at a Summer Youth Program in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. My professional interests are in Criminal Justice (corrections and juvenile justice), social services (related to youth) and Government (all levels). I am also a member of a nationally ranked kickball team and love pretty much every competitive sport. I hope to see my fellow Wagnerites in the intramural sports throughout the year!
