Asian Pacific American Student Alliance (APASA)
MissionAPASA is committed to raising visibility and awareness regarding Asian/Pacific Islander American social and policy issues both domestic and international, within the public service sector and the wider community. APASA also strives to provide a network and support system among Wagner APIA and other students of color, and enhance the educational experience through various forums and resources geared towards professional development, social events, and dialogue addressing relevant issues concerning the APIA community.
Membership
APASA membership is open to all NYU and NYU Wagner students and alumni who self-identify as Asian/Pacific Islander/American, as well as allies interested in APIA issues and activities.
"APIA" may include, but is not limited to, individuals of the following descent: East Asian, Filipina/o, Pacific Islands, Micronesia, South Asian/Indian, Southeast Asian, West Asian, and multiracial.
