Bridge: Students for Social Entrepreneurship
Mission
Bridge was established in 2006 as a way to engage the Wagner, NYU and professional community in the ideas surrounding social entrepreneurship (SE). Since then Bridge has ensured that Wagner has been at the forefront of this emerging field by educating students and advancing social entrepreneurship as a way to solve a broad range of social problems. Bridge’s mission - advancing social innovation and pattern-breaking change by connecting people through dialogue and action - is integrated into all events and educational forums we produce. Through these events Bridge channels the drive, imagination, discipline, and accountability inherent in entrepreneurship towards the formidable task of resolving societies most pressing issues to create a mechanism for creating lasting social value.
