Black Student Alliance
Mission
The Black Student Alliance (BSA) strives for a Black community within the Wagner School of Public Service that reflects to composition of the general population of the United States as it individually relates to students, staff and faculty. We believe that if Robert F. Wagner is to be the school that prepares individuals to be leaders in the field of public service, then it is imperative that the school infuses race-based issues into existing curriculum and introduces race-focused courses into the main curriculum of all programs and specializations at Wagner. We are committed to engaging with the administration, faculty, staff, students and alumni to make the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service the premier institution that facilitates and incorporates the issues of race in the field of public service and in the broader society.
