Mission Statement
The Wagner Volunteer Corps (WVC) aims to create, promote and participate in volunteer opportunities by building connections to the community while enhancing experiential learning.

Through volunteerism, WVC hopes to:

Wagner Community Service Grant
Each year, a generous donation of $1,000 is made available to support student initiated volunteer projects and programs that address urgent social or environ-mental issues. The grant(s) will be awarded in February for spring projects. Details and information on how to apply will be coming later in the semester.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Saturdays in ServiceOn the third Saturday of each month, WVC will be organizing a volunteer opportunity with a different non-profit in the city. This semester these Saturdays will be September 19th, October 17th, November 21st, and December 19th. Space will be limited so sign up early!

Calling All Earthkeepers! Green up and clean up Van Cortlandt Park with Timberland®, Earthkeepers®, and NYC Parks. Join Timberland®, Earthkeepers®, and NYC Parks on Saturday, October 3 for Dig It, a volunteer day in Van Cortlandt Park. Come out and help us paint light posts and benches, ward off graffiti, plant trees, and remove weeds in the Northeast Forest, Indian Fields, and Shandler Recreation Areas.
****Please note this is not a WVC event, but simply a great volunteer activity that we recently heard about.
